Maple chocolate milk

2 minutes. Makes 1 glass.

The drink that started Cocoa House. Stirring a little milk in first gets rid of any streaks, so every sip tastes the same.

You’ll need

  • 250 ml (1 cup) cold milk, any kind
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) Cocoa House maple chocolate syrup
  • A small pinch of flaky salt (optional)

Steps

  1. Pour the syrup into a glass.
  2. Add a splash of the milk and stir until smooth.
  3. Pour in the rest of the milk and stir again.
  4. Taste, and add another spoonful of syrup if you like it richer.

For a frothy top, shake everything in a jar with a tight lid for 10 seconds.
